Our offer

According to the motto Janusz Korczak "Tell the child that he is good and that he can" we try to give children as many opportunities as possible to discover the world on their own and to try different disciplines: scientific, linguistic or artistic. We, wanting to learn from the best and, just like the best, repeat these words to every child many times. For us, the Little Man is not with us for academic performance. It also doesn't have to be the best at all costs in any area. Instead, we want Children to grow in a sense of security and acceptance, and through experience and trying new things, they find out themselves that they can, can and want to do something, learn something. Only then does their and our work make sense and actually develops.

In our philosophy, we use various educational assumptions, including Montessorian (joining groups for part of the classes; all children know the entire teaching staff, so we have no problems with e.g. substitutions) or positive discipline (treating children as partners). We believe that the interweaving of various motives supports interdisciplinary development and does not limit.

Each Child is good, each wants to learn the world, and our role as Adults (Parents and Teachers) is to create a space for them and lead them in it. A smart work plan, routine and activities developing the seven main key competences allow for versatility and educate the ability to choose - what I want, what I like and what not and why? With us, children and parents find out!

Thanks to the cooperation with a professional private school, we are sure that educational services are of the highest quality and constitute an ideal basis for the further development of the children's language skills. We accept the standards used in schools (exactly as it is done in Western countries), which means that our pupils immediately prepare to continue their education at further stages.

Additionally, we implement a key competences support program. According to the assumptions of the functioning of the European Union, every person entering adulthood should have a range of widely developed skills (including learning, using the mother tongue and a foreign language, entrepreneurship, innovation), which are to help him during flexible adaptation to the ongoing changes. in the world. Therefore, we propose classes, among others on European integration and the science of Europe.

  • Security - the overriding principle in the facility. We build them from the very beginning, we support, protect and deepen. We are convinced that only under such conditions can the Child take the next steps in its development.
  • Clear rules - we work on the basis of specific action plans, the rhythm of the day and this is also what we want to teach the pupils - it's okay simply to live better.
  • Professionalism - our team is constantly developed and trained to be able to provide children with care and support at the highest level. We take an example from Western educational systems.
  • Love for quality - continuous improvement and change is something certain for us, and at the same time still fascinating. Every, even the smallest, progress that we introduce to improve our work enjoys us exactly the same.

We are aware that for both Children and Parents the beginning of the adventure with education at the first level is a huge change. We attach great importance to safe acclimatization in a new place. Therefore, in Niedzwiadkowie we decided to use the French adaptation – the most popular in France, where children are already left in institutions from 3 months of age! We assume that acclimatization should proceed smoothly, albeit in a cordial atmosphere.

Therefore, we operate in the following steps:

  1. We invite the Parent/Guardian to accompany the Child for the first three days. During this time, the toddler becomes familiar with the new space and people. An adult is present in the institution, but gradually reduces his involvement in activities and allows the Child to take care of someone else.
  2. We build trust and independence - also beyond the time spent at the facility. The key is to talk to the Toddler at home, apply similar rules. We should remember all the time that the Little Man perfectly feels the emotions of the Parent and absorbs them. So let's be careful not to dramatize.
  3. Wychowawcy dają „zielone światło” Rodzicom/Opiekunom, kiedy mogą opuścić salę i poczekać w wyznaczonej przestrzeni.

If educators see that the Child requires more time to get used to a new place, they openly talk about it with the Parent/Guardian and extend the number of days the adult is staying with the Toddler.

French adaptation is a prelude to trust-based cooperation. Our offer is therefore addressed to people who understand this process and want to undertake it.

ATTENTION! During the school year, the adaptation schedule is shortened.

Niedźwiadkowo works in accordance with the curricula of trilingualism Quality Centre Education – Alternative Primary School and developing key competences. The work plans were created based on the knowledge and experience of methodologists, teachers and trainers from all over the world - we strongly believe that it is the international environment in which children spend their time that makes them more open, tolerant and faster to develop. on every level - intellectual, social, artistic, motor and linguistic.

During the day, children have contact with a teacher who speaks only in a foreign language (English or Spanish) and in Polish.

Niedźwiadkowo is a point open throughout the calendar year, excluding public holidays. For 12 months, we work according to the schedule below, which allows us to maintain a routine – so important for building the child's safety. Our groups consist of 5 to 12 people (in each group there is a permanentLy assigned Polish-speaking tutor, language teacher and help). The rules adopted by Western educational institutions show that children feel best in a strictly organized routine of the day – this builds their safety.

Once a week, each group participates in speech therapy classes. Regular exercise trains concentration and memory. The program is adapted to dynamically developing multi-ingual children. During the lesson, we use dandelions, feathers, exercises with water and breath, shadow theaters. As a result, the Bears know language breaks, Polish poems and have "neutral" accents.

Regular dance classes develop children's motor skills, teach memorization of choreography, practice rhythm and allow for physical activity. In addition, we practice teamwork and get to know the Latin culture.

Ballet classes are a variation of dance that allows you to practice precision, accuracy and calm down. Small bodies become more flexible, we work on a simple posture and perseverance. During the classes, children commune with classical music and have the opportunity to practice in real ballet costumes!

Instrumental lessons draw from the philosophy of Edwin Gordon (the creator of the famous Gordons). We use during classes m.in children's instruments, guitar playing by the leader, Klanzy scarf, soap bubbles, balls, ribbons and many others! We become sensitive to acoustics, getting to know different musical genres.

Several times a month, thematic sensory classes are organized, e.g. forest activities, with the use of soil, vegetables, flour or pasta. They develop imagination, support creativity and allow for free actions and independent initiation of activity.

The organized classes are attended by a medical dog that works with the teacher on a daily basis. Thanks to his presence, children learn sensitivity, openness to otherness and cooperation, as well as the basic rules of behavior towards animals. As part of this module, we also host alpacas - animals intended for therapeutic work with children.

New technologies are inherent in today's world. In order to use them as best as possible to support children's learning and development, during our classes we introduce elements of coding, programming and robotics, using interactive teaching aids and robots.

Our children carry out at least one project per month, e.g. creating a volcano, which takes about 3-5 days. During its course, Children learn to plan activities, time management and experiment. This work is also an excellent tool for self-discipline, exercising faith in one's own abilities and agency.

We organize a lot of cultural and animation events for our children, which make their stay in the facility even more attractive. We regularly have experts visits (e.g. a firefighter or a policeman) or visits of animals (alpacas, dogs).

A series of classes from March to May for the oldest groups of children in a given year, during which the most important skills are practised before the next educational stage: proper use of cutlery and personal hygiene, fine motor skills, sensorics and hand therapy as an introduction to learning to write. The class culminates in the creation of a project (e.g. a manipulative board).

Every last Friday of the month we organise sleepovers with workshops related to a theme (e.g. space, spring etc.). Children have the opportunity to become independent, prepare their own meals and have an adventure, giving parents a free evening and night!

On two Saturdays a month, we invite you to a day organized according to the standard schedule, from 9.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. These days are a great opportunity for new Children and their Parents to get to know our facility and staff, and allow you to do your work duties on weekends without the stress of caring for your Toddler! During the events we provide full board and a nap.

At least once a year we take part in an organised bus trip, experiencing extraordinary travel adventures! We discover the most interesting places on the map of children's entertainment of Warsaw and its surroundings.
