Every Parent knows that the Child's birthday is a time of summaries, examination of conscience, drawing conclusions and creating plans for the next year. Due to the fact that last Thursday our Bear celebrated one year, the time has come for an examination of conscience. Over the last year we have learned a lot, many changes have been introduced and we still want to 🙂

Therefore, we invite you to a summary of the first year of Niedźwiadków's activity!

First, let's count the whole thing. Our TOP-10 list of successes:

1. We started by creating a new logo, name and thinking about what we would like to give you in our offer.
2. We went through a thorough renovation of our Bear Land (again a huge thank you to everyone involved in the 7-month fight!).
3. We changed our routine (who remembers how at the beginning of February we greeted each other from 8.00 in the morning?? 😉 can let you know in the comments!).
4. Gradually, we introduced the trilingual program into our everyday life.

5. We celebrated the first events (e.g. Indian Children's Day or farewell to the first Graduates), which brought us the power of impressions and joy <3
6. We have received our prizes FIRMA NA MEDAL 2021 or TOP FIRMA NA MEDAL 2021, as the only company in Poland in the EDUCATION category, as well as ORŁA EDUKACJI 2021.
7. We have added a number of additional activities for toddlers.
8. At the beginning of September, we welcomed the new Bears into our ranks.
9. We celebrated the first Christmas by celebrating every day of December. <3
10. We have been looking forward to organizing our year, wanting to celebrate it with the closest to us Bear Friends <3

I think we managed 😉 And what did we learn? The list is long, so below you will find the strongest conclusions in our opinion.

YOUR PLANS, YOUR LIFE

Exactly a year ago, a meticulous excel spreadsheet entitled ACTIVITIES was created. Ambitiously? It is known how it is 😉 We wrote out the motives that were introduced by the end of August 2021 to improve and increase the quality of work of the entire organization. As it turned out along the way plans beautiful thing, the implementation a little more difficult 😉 Not everyone felt good, someone always did not like something, something broke, did not arrive, the renovation team did not know how to paint the wall, and the leaves by the birches did not want to stick 😉
It happened that on the day of the biggest snowstorm last winter, we left the building on Saturday at 2.30 am to return there in five hours... A hard and thankless time, a sea of tears shed, but... consistency led us to the fact that everything was tightened up. Ideally? No. Exactly like in excel? No. Was it going to be even better? Definitely. But sometimes you just can't. It's good how you can do it, because it's still a lot. Planning is necessary because it sets a goal, but even more important is the consistency we show during its implementation and flexibility in unfavorable circumstances. 😉

SAFETY AND QUALITY AS A PARAMOUNT VALUE

From the beginning of the facility's existence, our overriding value is the safety and quality of services provided. Based on these two pillars, we build all the work and choose goals consistent with them. After the first year WE ARE SUREthat this is the right direction. Only in a safe atmosphere can both Children and Adults (after all, Niedźwiadkowo is also a workplace for quite a large number of people!) can realize and develop. These are inseparable elements, one without the other simply does not work. And beware! A safety zone does not mean comfort! 😉 Sometimes you have to adjust, do something differently than you would like, to be able to observe the results later! The results of our JOINT work are of high quality because we consistently adhere to the decisions made. We demand from ourselves and from others, because being demanding raises the standard of living.

ALL FIRST TIMES

In the first year, everything is done for the first time ... first 😉 The first time we celebrated Children's Day, we said goodbye to the first Graduates, the first dressing of the Christmas tree and hosting Santa Claus, the first Christmas Eve together and work based on a new standard every day. We met new people, organized the first photo session. We experienced each of these events together, sometimes with joy and sometimes with nervousness. We tried to capture almost everything in photographs so that we could come back to them. "These" all the first times will forever remain in our bear hearts! <3 After all, the best investment is in memories!

FORGIVENESS

A classic once said, "What's not for us, it's not for us and that's it...". And you know what? He was right. If we were to point to only one conclusion that we drew during the first year of operation, it would be to accept that with certain people we are not on our way, we will not do some of the tasks (nay! most!) ourselves, we are all fallible. The only recipe not to go crazy is FORGIVENESS. Allowing people to leave (especially people whose vision of life is not in line with ours), creating a space for mistakes (because the one who does nothing is not wrong) and choosing people and phenomena that are consistent with our values. <3

BE REALISTIC, START DREAMING

The icing on the birthday cake 😉 Dreams should not remain only in our heads. Neither the small ones nor the big ones. If we want something, it is worth defining goals and consistently implementing them. That was exactly the case in January a year ago. Excel created itself (not the 😉 itself) and realized. And now? Now we have another sheet, for another year. And it is known that the second birthday approaches the... The rebellion of a two-year-old 😉 so keep your heads open and wish us continuous development! And so we know that we already have the best – good people around! 🙂
